Tribal Twerk is rooted to the African Mapouka Dance infused with the Egyptian Belly Dancing elements to honour the yin and yang characteristics of our chakras. When we do this dance, we learn all about the chakras and how can we tap in through dance and let go and release Twerk fit is more than just a dance fitness class, It’s a tool to empower women in their self-expression, feminine energy & inner strength while connecting & creating a strong female community, embodying self-confidence & body positivity through a dance practice. Dancing is the most direct way to become aware of your inner space and of the space outside your body. Dancing unfolds feeling, emotions and nostalgia. Dancing is the joy of life, of creation, an expression of the awakening soul that is reflected in the dancing experience and in the rhythmic movements. Get ready to sweat, strut, and express your feminine energy as you discover the magic of tribal dancing! No dance experience is required - just bring yourself, your sass, your attitude, and your willingness to shake what your mama gave you. Teacher training will begin at 10am & finish at 4pm with an exchange of €125. There will be 30 minute break and from 4:30pm - 6pm we will have a Tribal Twerk class. The class is open to everyone even if you haven’t attended the training, with an exchange of €25. (but it is including in the full day teacher training) Tribal Twerk training is based on African dance and middle easter moves separated between our ying and yang, masculine and feminine energies in the body. The training has a strong base on the vedic chakra system and how to move the chi, prana through movement based on the ancient Kundalini yoga. The 6 hrs training will give you a comprehensive knowledge on the chakras and how they are relevant to the dance, the moves and the origin of them as well as the detailed techniques of the twerk dance move. This training is non-refundable, however, you may transfer your place to a friend at least 24hrs before training.
